An act to amend the education law, in relation to requiring a licensed social worker in each elementary, intermediate, middle, junior high and senior high school.

Synopsis and Provisions
The proposed legislation seeks to amend the Education Law to require districts to employee licensed school social workers in each school.
Enacting this legislation would ensure adequate availability of school social workers to all students.
