NASW –NYS is committed to the effective and quality practice of social work practice. The Professional Review process considers complaints of alleged violations of the NASW Code of Ethics of members. The Chapter Ethics Committee reviews grievances, pertaining to professional conduct for NYS Chapter members. This peer review process is designed to correct and improve practice, and the actions are meant to be educational and purposeful, rather than punitive.
