Visit the ASWB website( www.aswb.org) to get detailed information on content for exams.

In NYS you will need to take the Masters level exam to receive your license as an LMSW and the Clinical level exam to receive your license as an LCSW.  To recieve you LMSW you may take the Advanced Generalist or Clinical level exam only if you have 2 years post MSW experience.
